From the earliest stages, both Coda Clothing and Leopold’s Tavern have been about their community. This is easy to see from the smiling faces that are more than happy to great you, along with the second-to-none product that keeps people coming back to both spots. Over the weekend these two Cathedral Village mainstays came together to host a party of epic proportions.
For the first instalment of the Coda x Leopold’s Fiesta, the bar appears to have been set, almost intimidatingly high. This Saturday and Sunday saw the perfect combination of music, weather, food, drinks and of course, people. From morning ‘til night (11am -11pm both days) patrons of both locales enjoyed upbeat music while taking in Mexican inspired food and drink, along with each others company.
Everywhere you looked there were smiling faces dancing, singing, eating and drinking. It was a “Fiesta” in every sense of the word. The mood was set with a perfect combination of DJs and live music, giving the pseudo backyard party, a somewhat festival atmosphere. Mix in top-notch food, a piñata full of goodies and the fact that this shindig was smack in the middle of Regina’s downtown and you’ve got perhaps the best weekend in recent memory.
Of course, along with warm weather fun, comes some of the best style moments of the season. Thanks to the perfect combination of Coda and the most aesthetically creative minds in the city, the Fiesta was a treat for all the senses!
Can’t wait to do it all again
