Nike Dunk High ($110)
Shoe4

The Nike Dunk was initially introduced in 1985 and then reappeared 13 years later (1998) to the joy of those who had only seen pictures up until that point. Simple in design and construction this classic has since been a canvas for just about every artist, pop-culture reference and import beer just to name a few. In this case we have a Dunk High with a black dura-buck upper which is sure to last through winters and summers (grab some Jason Markk at Coda). The red detail through out the shoe pops nicely to add just enough flare for these constant classics to turn some heads.

Air Jordan 1 ’93 ($170)
Shoe3

A close relative of the Nike Dunk, the Air Jordan 1 was also originally released in 1985. Now, this is the only reason that any pro ball player today has a shoe with his/her name on it. Im not speaking specifically about this color-way but the template and the marketing were revolutionary. In this case they have decided to pull inspiration from within, the latest reincarnation takes cues from the Air Jordan 8 which was released in 1993. The heel, the chenille application on the tongue as well as the ’23’ detail on the toe box are all borrowed from the Jordan 8. These would be a nice addition for any Knicks or Broncos fans out there.

Air Jordan 5 ‘Grape’ ($200)
Grapes

I’m not even going to bull shit about these. They speak for themselves. Either you want them or you don’t… and if you ‘kinda’ want them then you’ve probably waited too long and their already gone.

Nike Lebron X ‘Re-Entry’ ($220)
Shoe1

Shoe2

The Lebron X’s design was inspired by diamonds and the latest release is taking that literal. ‘Re-Entry’ is referring to the diamonds that are created as meteorites sail through the earth’s atmosphere before crashing to the ground (note the diamond burning up on the heel of the shoe). This shoe also offers some of Nike’s best tech. A Hyperfuse upper with dynamic Flywire cables provides lightweight support and a lockdown feel while thefull-length Zoom Air unit provides responsiveness which is ideal for reducing impact and quick movements.

Shoes2

This quartette drops tomorrow and the doors will open at 10:00 AM so make sure to get up bright and early…you don’t want to miss out on your size.
