The Hundreds has just celebrated their 10-year anniversary and in the process have decided to recognize this accomplishment by paying tribute to the place where it all began, in The City of Angles. For their Spring 2013 lookbook the brand took it back to what originally inspired their creations and shot things on location across LA, all the way from the beach to the streets.
On what was perhaps the only cloudy day of 2012, they went out in search of authentic California to capture the essence of the brand in some original and thought-provoking spots that conjure up images of just what The Hundreds is really all about.
Bobby Hundreds who co-founded the brand was quoted as saying “Our brand is about LA lifestyle and California culture. This really brings it full-circle because it’s the 10-year anniversary and we wanted to touch base with that.”
The images that were captured from the mountains to the hills, from the city to the beach are nothing short of inspiring and show the true spirit of progression and creation that has brought The Hundreds to the place they are at today.
When you look at the newest offerings from one of the biggest brands in streetwear, which are available in stores now, it is easy to see that the momentum they have created with their ideas shows no sign of slowing down any time soon, and holds in it’s future some great promise in terms of the direction the industry will go in seasons to come.
